Effective Against SARS-CoV-2

Wanzl are pleased to announce that they have seen a reduction in SAR COV2 (The Virus that causes Covid 19) on their treated coating - ShieldMaster. When tested to ISO 21702:2019 we have  seen a reduction in SARS COV2 on the coated surface of >73% after 2 hours when compared to a control coating. ShieldMaster is always present and active on the surface offering product protection and complimenting cleaning protocols.

Here's how it works: 
 

  1. Biomaster technology binds to the cell wall disrupting growth
  2. The silver ions interfere with enzyme production stopping the cell producing energy
  3. Biomaster interrupts the cell's DNA preventing replication 

Immediate Effectiveness

As soon as bacteria lands on the BIO surface, it will begin inhibiting their growth.
In ISO tests a reduction of over 80% could be seen in 20 minutes.
