Logistic & Industry Engineer - Warrington
Duties
Your duties
- You will be required to assist with the timely and effective completion of all reasonable requests made by your immediate Line Manager.
- You will be required to understand a comprehensive repair and maintenance service to equipment at our Swindon site. You will be required to fit/strip roll cage components and carry out general role cage maintenance duties at your site of work.
- You will be required to carry out MIG welding and to undertake roll cage refresh or assembly work.
- You will be trained in using a Company smartphone to scan and record work activity.
- You will work as part of a team to fulfil a daily requirement of completed cages from the site.
- You will be responsible for your own safety and the safety of others; you must therefore ensure you abide by the provisions of all associated safe working procedures for repairs and inspection.
Qualifications
What to bring with you
- Based in Warrington or surrounding areas
- MIG Welding Training
- Some Mechanical Maintenance / Basic Engineering training.
- Some basic Health and Safety training.
- Ability to use smart phones / PDA / IT equipment.
- Must be flexible in terms of working hours, as and when required additional support may be required which may include working weekends and additional hours during the week.
- Must be willing to attend Wanzl Academy training where necessary at our training centre in Tibshelf, Nottinghamshire.
