The intelligent ExitGates from Wanzl are an important component of automated checkout systems. They control the flow of customers in a customer-friendly way and prevent inventory differences.
Customer-friendly
Using the integrated sensor system, the ExitGate detects the current situation (slow or fast-moving people, customers with children, etc.). The barriers remain open for as long as necessary, but not one second more – for a high level of customer convenience with maximum security
Flexible software
Wanzl ExitGates are adapted to the requirements of the checkout processes via software. Subsequent changes and adjustments can also be made thanks to an update function integrated in the software.
Automatic and secure
The automatic barrier return function prevents inventory differences. After the barrier has been opened manually, the ExitGate immediately restores the “working situation”. Staff are not required to reset the barriers, unlike in conventional systems.
Wanzl Access Manager
ExitGate can be controlled with Wanzl Access Manager. Wanzl Access Manager links peripheral devices to a homogeneous software suite that validates users and operators almost in real time at any access control point.
