Individual and digital: wide range of options for the hotel industry

Wanzl Hotel Service presents exciting solutions at Intergastra

Mini markets or traveller shops will remain one of the major trends in the hotel industry in 2024. At Intergastra in Stuttgart (Hall 7/Stand 7B11), Wanzl Hotel Service will be demonstrating how such shop concepts can be realised according to individual customer requirements and in the shortest possible time, even on a small budget. Wanzl's modular shop system is at the centre of the trade fair presentation. Based on various modules - from the coffee station to the self-checkout terminal - hoteliers can even plan their own shop with the help of self-assembly instructions, saving time and money. In order to offer customers maximum flexibility, Wanzl has further expanded its range of modules; for example, the digital self-checkout terminal is now also integrated into a standardised shop element. Wanzl also supports customers with digital solutions for access control and shop monitoring.

Top sellers from the housekeeping sector will also be at the trade fair stand: with the redesign of the Mundus housekeeping trolley, Wanzl offers the perfect answer to customers' requirements in the hotel industry. Since then, they have not only benefited from the freedom of personal configuration, but also appreciate the flexible use of the trolley in various hotel areas, such as public areas or the hotel terrace. In Stuttgart, four different models demonstrate the countless possibilities offered by the Mundus equipment catalogue. The elegant Aera luggage transport trolley and a highly manoeuvrable and space-saving laundry trolley also offer insights into Wanzl's product portfolio for the back office.

Modular and digital: customised shop concepts

From flexibly customisable shelving elements from the wire tech 100 shelving system to sales tables and the coffee station: Wanzl's modular shop concept covers all relevant components allowing the optimally planned shop to be realised for every hotel, taking into account local conditions, the hotel's interior design and the available budget – even by hoteliers themselves: The experts at Wanzl have developed a self-assembly guide for the modular system, which provides step-by-step instructions from planning and design to assembly.

This saves not only the planning costs but also the installation costs. Wanzl has the right digital solutions for managing and monitoring the mini-market. The Galaxy Port from Wanzl controls guest access, including around the clock if desired. The Wanzl connect dashboard centrally manages and monitors all processes in the store, while a sensor system keeps an eye on both movements and people's behaviour in the shop. Payment is made at the self-checkout simply using a debit or credit card.

Versatile and flexible: the Mundus housekeeping trolley

The current design concept of the Mundus housekeeping trolley impresses hoteliers with an extensive range of equipment that allows maximum design freedom. With four trolley sizes, three decors and three frame colours, the Mundus can be adapted to any hotel interior or corporate design – and can be used more flexibly than ever in a wide variety of hotel areas. This also applies to the storange range: sophisticated basic models are available for immediate delivery from the stock on hand and a fast delivery programme makes it possible to easily customise fully assembled trolleys with selected accessories. Wanzl will be exhibiting one of these models and a fully equipped Mundus in Stuttgart, as well as two Mundus models that are suitable for applications such as patios.
