Reviva History

The Reviva concept was created in the UK in 2008. It is a uniquely British manufacturing option. The unique Reviva process provides a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to new products. Reviva concentrates on the remanufacture of products instead of refurbishment, allowing the process to bring the asset back to life. Wanzl UK has invested in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Tibshelf, Derbyshire, to ensure we provide the best in remanufactured product. We, at Wanzl UK, reject the notion of a throwaway society.
In 2008 Wanzl's sister company, Storetec, created a new service model that extends the life of Wanzl equipment.
This model provides a much longer product lifecycle and offers a more superior service and finish. Other refurbishing products within the industry deliver very little quality or surface finishing controls.
The new concept had to reflect Wanzl remanufacturing processes with quality, cost and a reduction to environmental impact of retail equipment at the core of its philosophy.
As we look to the future, we have to continue to create new ways of working - to simply dispose of tired looking equipment due to discontinued colour brands or aged cosmetic appearance is no longer acceptable.
The new concept was launched into the marketplace in March 2010 and named Reviva.
Reviva is primarily aimed at the retail sector as it has vast amounts of steel manufactured skeletal equipment which can be revived to an 'as new' standard, with specialist finishes to extend the life of products.
The Reviva concept is an award winning process after being awarded with the Surface Engineering Association Environmental Award. This was presented to Wanzl UK by Lord Hoyle at the House of Commons, in 2012.
All Reviva products, services and processes are certified to a BS EN ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system.
We are confident that the Reviva service will provide a sustainable and futuristic alternative to manufacturing and the disposal of good quality equipment.
