Wanzl meets John Lennon

Travel 300 for Liverpool Airport

Manufactured in Swabia, ordered by airports around the world: Wanzl recently delivered its Travel 300 model to Liverpool Airport. This new British customer has 365 trolleys at its service and around 4.3 million passengers each year now benefit from a first-class transport service for luggage in Liverpool. On the move with the Travel 300, you're guaranteed to meet John Lennon – in the form of a bronze statue of the city's most famous son, which stands in front of the check-in area. The airport itself is even named after it: Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL). Here, in Northwest England, Wanzl rolls to the Liverpool beat and the rhythm of The Beatles. Maybe in future, Liverpool FC manager Jürgen Klopp and his team will use the Wanzl trolleys when they travel through Liverpool Airport from Anfield on their way to Premier League and UEFA matches.

A stylish all-rounder for Liverpool

Liverpool Airport chose the Travel 300 in steel tube design with a sturdy luggage support. This outstanding and reliable model is popular worldwide. "We are a globally leading supplier of luggage trolleys, and understand what our customers want: They want first-class equipment that makes airport processes easy and convenient," says Michael Tscharntke, Head of the Wanzl Airport business unit.
