If you say "shopping trolley" you usually mean a Wanzl, as it was our company founder who brought this great idea from the United States to Europe in 1953, improved it considerably and then sold millions of the successor models of the DR series all over the world.

Today the DR shopping trolley series
with 11 basket sizes is the most comprehensive series in the Wanzl range. The extension of existing DR stocks is also possible long term and is secured with excellent spare parts supply. One for all - and everything

The prototype consisted of two shopping baskets on wheels. In nearly 50 years it has developed into a large
product family of shopping trolleys.
Today there are models available for all demands - from picking up a few items at the store to large, weekly grocery shopping. Basket volumes, ranging from 60 to 212 litres, to meet practically all requirements. |

Clean processing
The rigid baskets are manufactured to fit precisely and are so tightly meshed that even very small items cannot fall through. The handle with plastic sheathing
can be supplied with an advertising insert on request and
is bolted to the basket at the end caps.
The castors are mounted on the chassis to deter thieves. |

Smooth running
Generating turnover the quiet way:
original Wanzl swivel castors have ball bearings, and
their rubber treads and standard plastic deflector rings on the rear castors guarantee long-term quiet running. The noise-attenuating plastic hinges and supports on the basket flap are also kind to the nerves of customers and staff. |

Glossy permanent protection
For Wanzl products, only laboratory-tested coatings
that provide years of effective surface protection are considered. We furnish them with a high-gloss, galvanised, chrome-plated surface with baked-on plastic paint protection or coloured plastic powder coating. |

All models of the DR series are produced
according to international quality guidelines and correspond to the European standard EN 1929. | |
